Penumbra Graphics Pack
A downloadable asset pack
Character sets and tile sets for a WIP commercial game I was previously working on that I decided not to continue with. I did not want my efforts to go to waste, so I am providing my self-created resources to those interested in using them.
All characters and tiles are compatible with RPG Maker MV and are sized at 300% to emulate the classic SNES look and feel. They were designed to be reminiscent of SNES RPGs. Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and RPG Maker 2000 were the main sources of inspiration for the graphical style of these assets.
The pack contains 10 character sets containing knights, ninjas, soldiers, villagers, wizards, and much more. The 39 tile set files can be used to make castles, caves, dungeons, libraries, mountains, sewers, ships, swamps, temples, towns, volcanoes, world maps, and anything else that you are creative enough to get out of them! Pictured to the left are samples of the cave, town, ship, and overworld tile sets.
If the reception of this pack is good enough, I might consider making some more if there's demand for it!

Hey friend, Just bought this pack. It's really nice and just what I needed for my game. But I have one question. There are some tiles, like the castle for exemple. One of the tile is called "Castle1" where does it go? I use rpg maker, and if I put it in one, animations, it doesnt make sense. It seems like the tile has many things, and would need to be cut to fit the rpg maker format 1 - animation, 2 - grounds, 3 - buildings, 4-walls, and 5 - normal.
Your response for help, would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there.
There are no auto-tiles for wall tiles. "Castle1" is an A5 tile set. Generally all of the ones that are 384x768 are A5. If you need more clarification, let me know! And sorry if this doesn't answer your exact question, I've been awake for 24+ hours, haha.
No, It answers perfectly. thank you very much.
