In past downloads (other sites) there was a v.1.07 or v.1.08 patch. are those necessary? or are they pre-patched (except for the RPG_RT.exe fix for fonts)
Figured out what caused that, it was the newer version of RPG Maker 2003 on Steam conflicting with a file that had been unofficially patched in an old version years ago that SHOULD be the one that is used. This is the RPG_RT.exe file in the game’s directory. I uploaded it to Itch, all you have to do is download RPG_RT.exe and replace the one the game’s folder with the newly downloaded version.
What’s up? I can offer them as separate downloads directly from Itch if there’s an issue with Mediafire’s bandwidth or something. I’ll also see if I can compress the download down any further shortly. It’s too big for Itch by maybe a few dozen megabytes, who h is why it’s currently on Mediafire.

You shouldn’t need to patch anything unless the font is weird or in-game item icons aren’t correct.
having a problem with the first games, the fonts do not match the equipment. i tried using the patch more then once, however it has not helped.

The problem is Mediafire is blocking it due to the use of tracks by Nobuo Uematsu.
